How Weight Loss Programs Can Make You Fat!We all know that fad weight loss programs and fad diets often fail when it comes to helping you lose weight but do you know that they can even make you gain weight? There are hundreds of special diets being marketed to Americans right now such as the blood type diet, the high protein diet, the raw food diet, the low fat diet, the low-carb diet, the low sodium diet, the high fibre diet, the low calorie diet, the vegetarian diet, the macrobiotic diet, the grapefruit diet, the South Beach diet, the Atkins diet, the Slim Fast Diet…the list just goes on and on. There is even a chocolate diet, skip food for a day diet, Jenny Craig, NutriSystem, Weight Watchers and many others. These programs don’t work and will actually make you fatter in the long run. The reason is that unlike a true fat burning program, none of these diets can address the true cause as to why you are overweight. The problem is that not one of them resets the hypothamulus. This organ produces hormones that help control your weight. This sentences you to just get fatter and fatter. None of them cures hunger. In fact they just leave you feeling hungrier because many of these diets are based on calorie deprivation. Most importantly, no matter how much weight you may lose doing these programs, none of them get your body to release stubborn deposits of fat on your hips or waist.. None of these programs reshape your body like eating a true fat burning diet can. Counting calories is the not the answer! Just treating just the symptoms of a problem has never ever worked for anyone. You need to treat your entire lifestyle and make big changes to treat a weight problem in a holistic way. The tragedy is that many of these diet programs don’t help at all and just make the problem worse! Many fat people suffer from a low metabolism. Your metabolism must be brought back to normal or slightly elevated through the proper application of diet and exercise or you will gain a lot of pounds. If your metabolism is high you can eat any kind of food you like in any quantity you like and your body will just burn it off and not convert it to fat. You have to be healthy to have that high metabolism. If your calorie intake is greater than the calories you burn you will put on weight, so you have to create a calorie deficit and burn more calories than you consume. |
