Your Body pH and Fat

By Zeb Williams

When it comes to all the extra pounds we are carrying around, we have to comprehend the cause before we can put the practical remedy into action.  This is because the cure for obesity is not just dieting – it is lifestyle change. We want to treat being overweight like any other illness.  The goal is to treat the whole person and not just the symptom.

Kevin Trudeau says that “Dieting to lose weight is like pulling a weed without getting at the root.”

In fact if you think of your body like a garden then you might see that dieting is more like depriving the garden of rain or nutrients.  You are still feeding the weeds that you never pulled up as the root causes of the obesity.

To lose the pounds you have to stop counting calories, carbs and denying yourself foods and fats and instead focus on the real crux of the matter – ACID. As a population we are on acid overload.

Whether we like it our not our bodies do need some forms of fat. The body retains fat as protection against the overproduction of acids that are produced by diets like the typical American diet.  If we are healthy our bodies dispose of some of these acids through the bowels, skin and urinary tract, but whatever is left must be buffered and neutralized.  If these acids are not eliminated then the acids start to break down the cells in your tissues and organs pretty much the way meat tenderizer breaks down steak.

When the body senses too much acid it becomes stressed and tries to preserve tissues in an attempt to prevent the cell breakdown caused by the acids. Fat is also used to bind acids and take them out of the body. That is about ten percent of the time. Sometimes fat is also used to store acids. This type of fat is so oxidized that it is actually brown in color.

Most of our bodies cannot fight off all of acidic substances that we take into our bodies every day.  Too much acid in the body robs the blood of oxygen and without it the metabolism slows down. We digest our food slower and experience weight gain.  Even worse the food clogs up in our system and pollutes our colon making our liver, kidneys, skin and other organs of elimination toxic pits of disease as well.

Yet another consequence of consuming too much acid is that it robs the body of oxygen and without oxygen food starts to oxidize, ferment and rot.  The fermentation creates fungus, mold and yeast to thrive throughout our body and the body can start to itch and smell.

Not only do fungus, mold and yeast steal your nutrients they also excrete wastes! These are called mycotoxins and exotoxins and can be very damaging to your cells.

Without enough nutrients, your body cannot build tissue or produce alkaline buffers, hormones, or hundreds of other chemical components necessary for cell energy and organ activity. In this situation, rather than providing energy, our food is vulnerable to further oxidization.  This results in unwanted weight gain, fatigue and illness.
