Why Are Americans Extra Fat?Throughout the world humans are eating foods rich in carbohydrates and fat and that is loaded with sugar and salt. They also drink beer, wine and other alcohol and eat ice cream and other gooey desserts whenever they want and do not gain weight at all. Nobody is sipping aspartame in diet sodas. Nobody eats low fat food only. They are not sitting around at dinner with Weight Watcher Cards or a pocket calorie counter. They eat all they want and do not gain weight. Why can’t Americans do the same? The answer is that the food is produced differently than in America. In America, for example, beef is injected with bovine growth hormone and loaded with antibiotics and other drugs. The beef is fed genetically modified and the stuffed full of chemically produced grain and ground up animal flesh. This toxic food is full of chemicals, hormones and drugs. It is not the actual beef that makes you fat. It is the additives in the beef. It is not just beef that is tainted in the United States. It is ordinary every day foods we eat, like bread. Bread is loaded with chemical preservatives and stabilizers, which make you fat. In other countries the bread is made with a total of four ingredients – flour, water, yeast and salt. In the U.S. it is loaded with chemical’s it is not just bread that is fattening, only American bread. You also need to watch out for those pre-packaged diet foods, which are loaded with high fructose corn syrup, MSG and hundreds of manmade chemicals. The chemicals in this food will just simply continue to decrease your metabolism and increase your hunger. In the documentary Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock ate only at McDonalds for one month and managed to gain twenty-eight pounds in that month. He gained the weight fast and effortlessly and got sick as a result. That what happens to us all of the time. Fasting was once called a treatment for obesity. It is not. It is a quick fix. Most people gain all of the weight back and more after a fast. The body simply is stressed by fasting if it goes on longer than a day or two and it goes into a famine like emergency mode that causes your body to actually conserve fat. However fasting is not all bad. The one thing that fasting is good for is cleansing the body from toxins. It is highly encouraged and beneficial. There are many kinds of fasts and many of them need to be performed together with an enemy. Fasting should only be done under the supervision of a licensed health care practitioner. Taking laxatives, diuretics, speed, thyroid drugs, skipping meals, special drinks, testosterone, laser treatments and homeopathic remedies do not cure the underlying cause of obesity. None of them release the problem of having too much body fat. In fact, so many of us have these weight loss problems it makes obesity and overall health problems a real burden on our stressed health care system even worse than ever! |
